Angela Washko works with the themes of gender and feminism. In the video above " Playing a girl", the artist participates in an online game, and engages with the other players in a conversation about feminism. The video re-establishes the real time interventions of Angela Washko, who diverts from the primary goal of the celebrated multi-player platform World of Warcraft. As well, Angela Washko recently benefited from the Franklin Furnace grant, as well as a grant from the Rhizome Internet Art Microgrant.
