After an exposition in the "Salon des Beaux Arts du Carrousel du Louvre" in December 2015 we had to chance to receive this artist in Mi*Galerie for his first art exposition in France.
The artist uses four vital elements of traditional Chinese painting: the pen, the ink, the paper, and the inkstone. In his work, he links western culture with traditional Chinese art, between the most classic technique and the most current graphic approach. Each work is an invitation to be carried by elements of nature such as clouds, mist, wind, rain, lightning or even a nebula. It is a realization of life, at the limit of the dream. We lay down on a flower, we let ourselves be carried by the current and by the oscillations of the sea. The artist wants his paintings to be a space where everyone can give free reign to his imagination.
Li Zhengheng was born in 1964 in Nanjing, a town located in the Chinese province of Jiangsu. He graduated from the School of Painting and Calligraphy Art in Shengzhen City.
