Erik Samakh, born in 1959 in Saint-Georges-de-Dionne, is a contemporary land-artist and a professor at the “Ecole Supérieure d’Art” in Aix-en-Provence, and since 2013 at the “Ecole Supérieure d’Art des Pyrénées.
His art, recognized internationally since the 1980s, mixes new technologies and natural elements, notably sounds.
Many of his work has been carried out on natural sites such as regional parks or geological reserves
